In recent months, we experienced the sudden loss of our longtime onsite caretaker, who lived among and cared for the animals each day. His presence was deeply woven into the life of the sanctuary, and his absence has been felt across the entire community.
In his honor, we continue to support the animals through a period of transition—maintaining consistent care, strengthening our team, and ensuring stability for the animals who relied on him.

About T. Erin White (Azlan)
T. Erin White, also known as Azlan, is the Director of Global Relief Resources Inc. (GRR Inc.), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on supporting healthy food systems, animal well-being, and regenerative land practices.
Their work has grown over time through direct experience with animals, land, and community—bringing together interests in healing, ecological restoration, and the care of intact animal families.
Through GRR Inc., Azlan leads initiatives that explore how food, land, and animals can be integrated in ways that support long-term health. This includes the development of regenerative farming systems, the Clean Protein Project, and the care of the Emissary Wolf Pack.
Following the sudden passing of the sanctuary’s longtime caretaker, Azlan guided the organization through a period of transition—rebuilding a care team, stabilizing daily operations, and continuing to shape the next phase of the work.
At the center of this path is a simple orientation: paying attention to the animals, the land, and what is needed—then building from there.
